Can I use an International License?
Absolutely, as long as there is an English translation either on the license itself, or you've been issued a translation with your home country. Both the original license and English translation (if applicable) are required to be in your possession.
How does insurance work?
The primary driver of the rental will be added to the insurance and will be covered under ICBC. If you plan on letting anyone else drive the rental vehicle, it is required for you to inform us.
Do you provide rentals for filming and content creation?
Yes, Cypress Exotics partners with approved content creators, influencers, and media teams. Discounts or collaboration packages may be available depending on your following and project. Please feel free to reach out for a custom quote!
Do you require a security deposit?
Yes. Deposits vary by vehicle, typically ranging from $2,000–$10,000. This will be fully refunded within 48 hours of the vehicle being returned in the same condition.
Will the vehicle be fueled upon pickup?
Yes, the vehicle will be filled up and is expected to be returned to us with the same level of fuel or more. Should you return the vehicle with less fuel, we will charge a nominal fee to get it back to the same level the vehicle went out with. If you return it with more fuel than you received, we’ll gladly reimburse you for the extra.
How does the whole rental process work?
We make our process as client friendly as possible. After confirming your rental, you’ll complete our intake form and pay a $500 booking fee, which is applied to your refundable security deposit. You’ll then receive an invoice and our full TOS. At pickup, our fleet manager will record fuel level, odometer, and a video log of the vehicle’s condition for transparency. Once the rental and deposit are paid in full, you’ll sign the agreement, receive the keys, and be on your way.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Interac E-Transfer, or any major debit/credit card through Paypal. Please note Paypal will incur an additional 2.9% service fee.
